Designed and built all promotional items, media kits, event posters, advertisements, icons for our company as well as advertisers. Designed, built, managed and optimized webpages for search engines. Designed the layout for the entire newspaper and setup styles and templates for all articles. Adjusted, cropped and edited all photos and images. Delivered 4-5,000 newspapers monthly to approximately 100 businesses from Cocoa Beach to Sebastian Inlet as well as Downtown Melbourne. Worked with pressman to ensure the paper was printed as expected and was error free in regards to color, format and readability. Photographed restaurants, events, businesses and subjects for interviews and articles. Took video footage of bands and events, edited and added them to the website. Managed a myspace account for advertisers, bands and readers.

Developed concepts and designs using traditional production skills and graphic software under the tutelage of Jason Bleick. Jason is a highly respected designer in the Orange County area and now owns a company called Ever Jeans. It was an excellent opportunity for me to work and learn from him as a Graphic Designer. While at The Scratchpad I designed T-shirts, flyers and logos for local companies such as Jack’s Surf Shop, The Empire Ballroom, Burning Snow, IF, Taxi’s Bar, 26 Red, Silver Star and Yaga to name a few.
